Hi, I’m Shauna a Somatic Practiotioner, Functional Physical Therapist and Co-Founder of The Embodied Movement™.
My approach has been shaped by both my personal experience and years of working with athletes and individuals who were experiencing physical pain and injury. On my journey I recongnised that pain as a symptom is influenced by factors far beyond biomechanics alone.
This understanding encouraged me to expand my work beyond traditional injury rehabilitation. My work integrates and addresses the nervous system, somatics, patterns, unresolved trauma, breath and movement mechanics, adaptive posture and unproccessed emotions creating lasting and embodied change.
Instead of simply managing symptoms, together we address the root through personalised sessions tailored to your individual needs.
